Purchase terms
Terms and conditions
Clear terms for buying living, rare and documented plants: price before payment, honest photography, plant-health review where needed and careful support if something arrives wrong.

Clear summary
| Seller | SUCCULON, operator of succulon.com. For purchase or after-sale questions, use the contact page. Complete fiscal details are provided in the applicable commercial documentation where required. |
|---|---|
| What we sell | Cacti, succulents, living plants, collector specimens and related materials. Each product page should state whether the image is the exact plant, a representative batch or an illustration. |
| Before payment | Price, applicable taxes, delivery costs and shipping limits are shown before order confirmation. A plant in the cart is not reserved until payment or written confirmation. |
| Plant documents | Where a plant or destination requires a plant passport, phytosanitary certificate, CITES traceability or document review, SUCCULON confirms this before shipping. |
| Buyer rights | Your statutory consumer rights remain in place. Because plants are living and may be perishable, returns and incidents are reviewed with plant health in mind. |
Who sells and how to contact us
These terms govern the use of succulon.com and purchases of products offered by SUCCULON. The main communication channels are the contact page, order emails and the channels shown on the website.
If information is needed to issue an invoice, arrange transport or review plant-health documents, we may request it before accepting or preparing the order.
Product information
SUCCULON sells living plants. A product page should not be read like a factory-perfect object: size, colour, roots, spines, growth marks and flowering can change. The commercial promise is more precise: careful botanical identification, honest imagery and clear communication.
- For unique specimens, the image should show that specimen unless stated otherwise.
- For batches, the image may be representative and the product page should say so.
- Scientific names are reviewed with botanical care, but taxonomy, synonyms and cultivar names can change.
- Measurements are approximate and offered as guidance, not millimetre-level guarantees.
Order, price and payment
An order is requested when the customer completes checkout. Final acceptance depends on real availability, received payment, correct details and shipping or document review where applicable.
- Prices are shown in euros and include or break down taxes as applicable.
- Shipping is calculated before payment according to destination, size, weight, number of plants and route.
- If we detect an obvious mistake in price, stock, name or shipping restriction, we will contact you before accepting the order.
- We may cancel and refund an order when the plant is not fit to travel, documentation is unsafe or the destination is not viable.
Availability and reservation
With rare plants, availability is as important as price. Unless expressly stated, adding a product to the cart does not reserve it. Reservation begins with accepted payment or written confirmation from SUCCULON.
If two customers try to buy the same specimen, the first confirmed order has priority. If delivery is no longer possible, we will offer an alternative or refund.
Botanical shipping
Most plants travel bare-root: without pot, planter or soil. It is cleaner, lighter and more prudent because it reduces retained moisture and plant-health risk. Preparation may require drying and a safe weather window.
- Processing times start from real preparation, not only from payment.
- Dispatch may be postponed because of cold, extreme heat, holidays, strikes or risk of parcels sitting in depots.
- Operational zones, timing and calculation are explained on Shipping & EU regulations.
- The customer must provide a complete address, working phone number and any information needed by the carrier or for documentation.
Plant passport, CITES and sensitive species
Plants for planting within the EU may require a plant passport and traceability. Some cacti and succulents are also subject to CITES and EU wildlife-trade rules.
Sensitive taxa are reviewed before publication, sale or shipment. This includes, among others: Ariocarpus, Astrophytum asterias, Aztekium, Discocactus, Obregonia, Pelecyphora, Strombocactus, Turbinicarpus, Uebelmannia and other regulated cacti/succulents.
- If legal status is unknown, the plant should remain under review and should not be promised for immediate shipping.
- CITES is not a decorative sales label: it must match documentation, legal origin and an allowed shipping zone.
- For non-EU destinations, islands or special territories, a manual quote and review may be needed before accepting the order.
- If documents cannot be prepared safely, shipping is cancelled or limited before false expectations are created.
Withdrawal, returns and refunds
For distance sales, EU consumer rules provide a 14-day withdrawal right in many cases. Living plants need careful handling because they can deteriorate quickly and may raise plant-health conditions. SUCCULON does not remove statutory rights by wording: each case is reviewed under applicable law.
- For the operating process, see Refunds and returns.
- If the product arrived damaged, wrong or with an issue attributable to SUCCULON or transport, we will review repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
- If the return is a change of mind and the law allows it, the customer must return the plant in reasonable condition, without handling that compromises its health.
- Return costs may be borne by the customer where there is no defect, error or different agreement, always subject to applicable law.
Transport incidents
A broken leaf, superficial mark or small loss of residual substrate does not always mean the plant has failed. The key question is viability: roots, body, growing point, rot and structural damage.
- Please contact us ideally within 24-48 hours after delivery.
- Send photos of the outer parcel, inner packing, shipping label, full plant and damage detail.
- Keep packaging and plant until the incident is reviewed.
- Do not water or repot a damaged plant before instructions if the problem could get worse.
Website use and account
Users must use the website lawfully and must not manipulate prices, stock, forms, accounts, payment systems or security. We may block orders, accounts or access where there is fraud, abuse, spam, unauthorised access attempts or use contrary to these terms.
A customer account lets you review orders and save useful details. Privacy, cookies and communications are governed by the privacy policy and cookie policy.
Liability and reasonable limits
SUCCULON is responsible for its legal obligations and for selling in accordance with applicable rules. At the same time, a living plant responds to climate, shipping and aftercare. After delivery, immediate watering, direct sun, cold, aggressive repotting or poor quarantine can affect the plant.
Care guides help, but they do not replace observation, caution and adaptation to the buyer's home, terrace or greenhouse.
Applicable law, changes and resolution
These terms are interpreted under the Spanish and EU rules applicable to consumers and e-commerce. If a clause is invalid, the rest remains in force as far as the law allows.
We may update these terms to reflect operational, catalogue, carrier, legal or plant-document changes. The applicable version is the one published when the order is placed, unless the law requires otherwise.
Before a formal complaint, we prefer to resolve issues with evidence, calm and a proportionate solution. You can contact SUCCULON through the contact page.
