Collector Standards

A collector plant is not defined only by being uncommon. It is defined by form, cultivation, stability and clear data.

Collector Standards

No stock photos

Generic images stay editorial; sale pages require specimen photography or a visible note.

The plant shown is the plant prepared for shipment

When a page sells an individual plant, the order is prepared with that same plant.

Checked before dispatch

Before dispatch we check firmness, visible roots, pests, moisture and packing stability.

Form and proportion

We look for compact bodies, symmetry where relevant, balanced growth and visible character.

Roots and stability

Roots must be able to travel and re-establish. If root status is not confirmed, it remains marked as pending.

Complete plant record

Botanical name, family, genus, species or cultivar, size, difficulty and shipping method should appear in the product experience.
